Wow, this was another really good class! I never realized that you could edit a paper in such a way. Pretty much the entire class was new information to me. This will be very useful information for me in the future.

The only question I have is occasionally when I edited the paper it would not show up in a baloon on the right hand side. Why is that?

The worst movie I have seen recently was Cloverfield!!! They used a handheld camera to film it so you get motion sickness from all the running and bouncing around. Plus the ending is pretty depressing since everyone dies.

My "aha" moment of the day is when we learned how to structure a paragraph. It really helps to actually do what we did at the bottom by highlighting the issue and bolding the point.

I do not have any questions at this time.

The Wasatch Front is home to approximately 1.6 million people or about 80% of the total inhabitants of Utah, is also the area with the greatest earthquake risk in the interior of the western United States. These earthquakes are caused by slipping that occurs along the Wasatch fault line which happens as a result of strain that builds up within the earth’s surface (Bruhn and Schultz, 1996). This paper proposes to use evidence of past earthquakes along this fault line and the destruction they may have caused to help predict and evaluate the destruction that may occur in a future event. This information will also be used to protect and prepare the many inhabitants of the Wasatch Front.

Once again, I have never created a web page before so most of what we learned today was new to me.

I actually have a lot of questions because I fell behind since I could not log in at the start of class.

When I was young, I wanted to be a proffessional basketball player or a pilot.

I have never created a web page so this was definately a first for me.

I don't have any questions at this time.

My favorite food is probably Fajitas, I love pretty much all mexican food because I served my mission there but I especially like Fajitas!

Once again, most of this information was new to me so most of the lecture today was an "aha" moment.

I seem to be struggling with writing my abstract. I guess since I've really never written anything like this before, I don't really know what is expected of me. The lectures do help though.

If I could have a superhero power, it would definately be the ability to fly. I've always wanted to be able to fly and it would save me a lot of money on gas.

I do have a question. How do we know if our topic is to broad or to vague? How can we decide that?

If I were a tool I would be a table saw because thats my favorite tool to work with. Its a lot of fun, its very useful and its slightly dangerous.

Actually, I found today's material to be very informative because I have never written a proposal before. So probably the entire class was more or less an "aha" experience.

It seems that I have no questions right now, but I'm sure I will as I get started on my proposal.

My dream vacation would definately be to Africa or the Amazon. I like wildlife and being out doors so those two places would be ideal I think.

I really enjoyed today's guest lecturer! It gave me a much better idea of what to expect in the interviewing process and what things that I can do to set myself apart from other people. I especially liked the part when he talked about his ten minute teaching opportunity and how he taught the people that were interviewing him how to tie a bowline and left each one of them with their own rope. That was something that differentiated him from the rest of his peers and helped land him the job.

Once I again, I have no questions at this time.

One thing I think that differentiates me from other people is that I dont give up. I feel that I am drawn to more difficult situations because they provide me with the opportunity to push myself and stretch my abilities.

I actually learned a lot today in class! Honestly I've never really made a "professional" CV/Resume so this is something that will be extremely useful for me in the future.

I still don't have any questions but Im sure I will when I get started on my CV.

On my mission we had this stuff called pica pica, which makes you itch uncontrollably. At this time we lived in a house with another companionship so my companion and I decided to put it all over their towels. To get us back they bought mace and sprayed us as we walked through the door, unfortunately or fortunately for us they accidently sprayed themselves. It was pretty funny because we were all rolling on the floor gagging and our eyes were burning like crazy!

My "aha" moment of the day was when we learned how to put periods in between tabs for things such as a table of contents instead of adding each period manually.

I am not currently confused about any of the things that we have learned today but I'm sure that will change in the not so distant future.

I have a very large scar on my left arm that occured while I was hunting with my friend and he accidently shot me... Ok actually, I got the scar while doing service for an elderly lady in my home ward. After mowing her lawn, I lifted the mower to put it back in the truck and pressed the hot motor against my arm giving me a third degree burn and a nice scar. Luckily I did not drop the mower.
